URN (Unique Reference Number)
A Unique Reference Number (URN) allows for referrals to be accurately tracked throughout the entire process. Further information is provided below:
- A URN is only generated when a referral is either saved or sent.
- Each URN appears in a 6 digit format and will appear in the top right hand corner when accessing a referral.
Please note: Multiple reasons for referral may generate more than one URN for the patient.
URN may also be known as ' Case ID'
