Upload From a PA Scanner ( Non-Digital X-Rays)
Based on the information provided and the reason for referral, it may be mandatory to upload radiographs/ images. The system facilitates various methods to upload, this method is uploading via a PA scanner for non-digital X-rays.

Upload from a PA Scanner (Non-digital X-rays)

  1. Attach the PA scanner to the PC via the USB cable
  2. Click the ‘Add’ button to open the uploader menu
  3. Select the ‘PA/Intra-oral Image’ tab
  4. A window will appear below the ‘Capture’ button (if this is the first time you are using the scanner from this PC you will be asked to accept the device in the window or download adobe flash player to be able to proceed)
  5. In the window that appears, you should then see a live feed from inside the scanner. Place radiograph film into the scanner tray and adjust the focus via a scroll wheel on the back as required
  6. Click the ‘Save’ button
  7. Add a date of expsoure for each image
Please note: 

It is mandatory to enter a date of exposure/photograph for each image uploaded. Select ‘Today’ to auto-fill today’s date, or for a previous date, manually enter the information in dd/mm/yyyy format. A note may also be added in the field below the date of exposure/photograph (above the image itself).

If the scanner is not recognised by the PC, please ensure you have tried multiple USB ports. If you are still experiencing an issue connecting the scanner, please contact the support team via the message function on this page.
